The University of Hamburg (Universität Hamburg, UHH) is a public research university in the city of Hamburg and one of Germany’s largest universities. It offers a broad portfolio of degree programmes across disciplines including law, economics and social sciences, education, humanities, natural sciences, psychology, and business administration, as well as a large medical campus through the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf. UHH is based mainly around the Von-Melle-Park campus in the Rotherbaum district, with additional facilities across the city. The university is active in interdisciplinary research and international exchange.
